WHERE do YOU WANT to TOUR?
While NWEF insurance and risks to riders and equipment does not allow unsupervised equipment rental, NWEF does offer lessons and custom built “tours” for experienced riders (which might be likened unto chaperoned rentals) at almost any suitable body of waters in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
Whether beginning or continuing on your E-foiling journey, students and more experienced riders are encouraged to propose a preferred E-foiling location. Given that the customer preferred foiling venue checks out as safe and suitable for lessons, Northwoods E-Foils will bring the party, the lessons, and the gear to your own door, dock, or beach! Inquire for more details. For students that have no particular preferences, Northwoods E-foils might recommend meeting at one of the popular venues listed below.
Minocqua Chain
Lake Minocqua, Lake Kawaguesaga,
Lake Tomahawk, Mid Lake
At the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Lake Minocqua and Kawaguesaga offers a central location and many nearby amenities. However, during busy holidays and weekends, boat traffic and wakes can complicate riding for newbies. Joined to Lake Minocqua through the Thoroughfare and multiple points of access, Lake Tomahawk is a nature lover’s dream, full of wildlife and epic scenery along its shores.
Boulder Junction Area
Trout Lake, White Sand Lake,

Featuring amazing bike paths and beaches to enjoy after your lesson, Trout Lake is located just south of Boulder Junction and about 20 minutes north of Minocqua. Lakes like White Sand and Trout lake run deep and have substantially less traffic to contend with relative to the Minocqua chain, making it an ideal candidate for students that are trying to focus on learning instead of navigation and yielding to boaters that might not be mindful of their surroundings or right of way.
